The Danger of Mounting Your Squirrel Proof Feeders Too Close to the Pole

Here’s an interesting set of shots for a squirrel proof feeder that in hindsight was too close to the pole. Even though this was a Squirrel Buster feeder, which generally are pretty good, you can make them ineffectual with sloppy installations.

The photos here clearly show how flexible and determined a squirrel can be when you give them the slightest access to the feeder.
